Our U.S. Workforce Confidence Index shows that the youngest members of the workforce are feeling the most pessimistic: job confidence for Gen Z is now at +24, down 7 points year-over-year. Gen Z workers have consistently scored lower than their older colleagues since the survey began in April 2020, but the gap has widened over the past year after briefly narrowing in late 2023.
