If you get unwanted emails, you can block the sender in Gmail. After you block the sender, all future emails from them go to Spam.
Block a sender
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Gmail app

- Open the message from the sender.
- At the top right, next to “Reply
,” tap More

Tip: If you can’t find the sender’s message, you may find it in Spam. To locate the sender’s message, at the top left, tap Menu

- If you get frequent promotional emails and newsletter, but don’t want to block the sender, unsubscribe from the email.
Manage suspicious emails

- While Gmail tries to keep spam out of your inbox, some spam may get through. If you get spam in your inbox, you can report it.
- If you find a suspicious email that asks for personal information, you can report the email for phishing.
