Finding profitable growth in performance marketing is about reaching the right users with relevant messages at the right time. At Cashify, our mission is to make buying and selling refurbished electronics seamless and trustworthy. But as we looked to expand across key regions in India, scaling search efforts while keeping acquisition costs in check remained a core challenge. That’s when we partnered with Google to test AI Max on Search, their new product designed to drive smarter targeting and better performance. As one of the early adopters, we were excited to see how it could enhance our efficiency at scale. We used search term matching and URL expansion to connect with high-intent users. Text customization helped improve ad relevance across geographies, and we were able to expand our reach while continuing to engage quality users. Here’s what it resulted in: 15% increase in conversions 12% reduction in customer acquisition cost 23% drop in CPC With AI Max, we’re seeing measurable impact, early on. I attended the GML 2025 last week and sharing a few takeaways Searches are becoming longer, exploratory queries . What this means is that Brands need to imagine their SEO strategy, even more in the multimodal world . Helpful, reliable, and people, first content should be the heart of the strategy Besides, AI is not just helping Google understand what someone is searching for, but also the intent behind it. The shift toward AI-enhanced search from Google is not just academic product one; it’s deeply commercial. One of the biggest reveals from GML was the introduction of Ads in AIO Google also rolled out a slew of AI innovations and products across creative, performance, and brand discovery tools. They are aldo doubling down on “agentic” capabilities, think AI-powered assistants that help advertisers set up high-performance campaigns within Google Ads and Analytics. This echoes Google’s broader ambition to make AI a co-pilot in marketing strategy What stood out for me was the use Veo on to generate new videos from a text prompt , simplify and cutting down the time from a brief to the inside strategy and finally execution AI is becoming the beating heart of innovation. Just wrapped up an incredibly insightful day at the #GoogleMarketingLive 2025 in Mumbai! 🚀 It was great to see how Google's cutting-edge AI and Machine Learning are set to redefine the future of Search and YouTube. Sharing this experience with Abhishek Kalyana and Swati Karande, we collectively gained immense value from the clear, data-backed emphasis on the predictably unpredictable nature of today's consumer journey (insightfully presented by Satya Raghavan). For us marketers, this isn't a new concept, but seeing it presented with such precision (highlighting how consumers seamlessly transition between searching, streaming, scrolling, and shopping) underscores the depth of data showcasing this non-linear behaviour. This reality is now powerfully integrated into leading strategic approaches, and we dove deep into leveraging advanced Google AI capabilities to unlock unprecedented business growth and efficiency within this dynamic landscape. Key takeaways included the introduction of the "Power Pack" of AI-powered campaign solutions (PMax, AI Max for Search, Demand Gen). Particularly impactful were the groundbreaking advancements in Lead Generation strategies, with the dedicated breakout session by Sajeet Nair and Anant Swami providing exceptionally valuable and actionable insights. It was also fantastic to hear insights from the influencer panel featuring Anusha Dandekar and Shanaya Makani.
