The UN Must Step Up and Enforce the Arrest Warrant on Netanyahu
Netanyahu should appear before the International Criminal Court, and the scales of justice should decide whether he is innocent or guilty. That is how the rule of law is supposed to work.
If states refuse to execute the ICC arrest warrant, then the United Nations should take the lead in ensuring that international justice is upheld when world leaders gather for the United Nations General Assembly.
If Netanyahu chooses to attend the UN General Assembly, the United Nations should ensure he is taken into custody and transferred to the ICC to stand trial.
No one should be above the law. Justice loses its meaning when it depends on power or political convenience.
