In 2017, DC became SHALL ISSUE for permits to carry concealed handguns. Previously it was nearly impossible to acquire a permit. Thousands of permits have been issued since. In 8 years, Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (MPD) dropped 59% and Aggravated Assault (FBI) dropped 25%.

Don’t fall for the fake Fox/GOP outrage. Two weeks ago the House passed a bill that greenlighted the transfer of Spanish territory to Morocco. Every Republican except me voted for it, but now THEY are acting shocked at the invasion. congress.gov/119/bills/hr85… congress.gov/119/bills/hr94…

Iran is waiting to see at least three more cards before they fold or deal: ♠️U.S. runs out of strategic petroleum reserves? ♦️Region runs out of anti-missile defense? ♣️Republicans run out of majority? ♥️We should leave the table before any of those cards are played.

Waiting for y’all to discover Republican leaders in DC have also scheduled an October recess. There are only 8 full work days and 8 half-days before the midterm elections. It looks like we’re intent on squandering a majority, until you understand Uniparty IS always the majority.

Do realize how rare it is to have a Republican trifecta control of the House, Senate, and White House? It’s only happened 5 times in the last century. 1920s under Harding and Coolidge. 1955-57 under Eisenhower 2003-07 under Bush after 9/11 2017-19 under Trump 1.0 2025 -
