The Christians of Nigeria do not need Western armies invading Africa.
They need something far simpler and far more just: for the Nigerian government to stop stripping them of the basic right to self-defense.
Current law makes it illegal for them to own a rifle, a pistol, or any weapon for protection. The penalty is ten years in prison.
While Muslim terrorists freely attack their villages, slaughter the vulnerable, and face no consequences, Christians are criminalized for wanting to survive.
This is not a complicated foreign policy problem.
It is a deliberate decision to leave one group of people defenseless.
Western leaders do not even need to send troops.
They only need to apply real pressure until this disarmament law is repealed and Christian communities are allowed to protect their own families.
Anything less is complicity.
