🔺 “Any act of aggression will be met with a decisive response”
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan that Iran was fully prepared to defend its sovereignty, territorial integrity and national security amid what Tehran described as continuing “conspiracies and aggressive actions” by the United States and Israel, according to Tasnim.
“Any act of aggression or hostile action by the United States and the Zionist regime, or the participation and cooperation of countries in the region, will be met with a decisive and appropriate response from our powerful armed forces,” Araghchi said in a readout.
He warned that regional governments assisting any U.S. or Israeli attack would also be treated as participants and said responsibility for “all the consequences of such adventures” would lie with those who initiated or enabled them.
The warning came during a call with the Saudi foreign minister as Araghchi continued a series of diplomatic discussions on the escalating regional conflict, speaking also with the Turkish FM and Pakistan’s powerful Army Chief in separate phone calls today.
