1/2 HMRC this morning. 1. "When you claim your pension you lose your tax-free allowance" 2. "Well, you're earning a good wage anyway" Me: "How is it that I am worse off now I'm claiming my pension while working?" HMRC "A lot of people only have the pension to live on"

Burnham's "National Centre for Information Defence" is nothing short of the communist wet-dream of total control of all communications. The Ministry of Truth is real.

This is incredibly disappointing, completely misleading and yet entirely predictable. The state pension IS a benefit and it WILL continue to rise. We cannot continue to standby as people’s life savings are consumed by care costs.
