I can accept this because there is precedent for Jean being dangerous and having a very dark streak. It creates a concrete REASON the X-Men are necessary, so that the world isn't destroyed by teenagers with limitless power abusing it because nobody taught them better.
Don’t know how I’m supposed to sympathize with Jean Grey in the MCU when she’s out there killing random people for no good reason and suffers no real consequences for it. And that’s not even the only evil thing she does.
What an odd way to introduce this pivotal X-Men character.
