    A school year’s worth of short, accessible image-driven posts that invite a variety of kinds of writing.

    This January we invited students to use this image to inspire them to write the opening of a short story or poem. The image was originally published with a Times Magazine article about dog owners posting content about their “talking” pets on TikTok.
