Title Gene count level transcriptomic data of high grade serous ovarian cancer
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary Transcriptomic profiling was done on 81 primary tumours, 1 relapse tumour, 5 autopsy tumours (whole tissue sections or macrodissected to enrich for tumour), 29 ascites and 7 normal fallopian tube samples. 1 of the primary tumours is a low grade serous ovarian cancer sample.

Overall design Between 500 ng and 2 μg of total RNA (RNA integrity number >7, except for autopsy samples) was used for library preparation using the TruSeq RNA Sample Preparation v2 kit (Illumina) as per the manufacturer’s instructions using the Low-Throughput protocol. All libraries were sequenced as paired-end 100-bp on a HiSeq2000 instrument (Illumina).
