GP is proud to support the hard work and dedication of the East Texas fire departments! Together, we are enhancing safety and building strong communities where our employees live and work.
Across East Texas, fire departments are first on the scene, protecting people, property, and entire communities, often with limited resources. To help support their vital mission, Georgia-Pacific LLC contributed $70,000 to fire departments in Diboll, Livingston, Corrigan, and beyond. These funds will help cover daily operations and provide essential equipment and safety gear, ensuring they’re ready to respond when every second counts.

We believe that shared values are as important as skills and experience when it comes to building strong teams. Our approach to principle-based hiring comes to life in stories like the one that connects Chris Payne, Keith Hamilton, and Mario Williams. Chris started in the Corrugated business and, after working with Keith at a previous job, saw his leadership, operational skills, and aligned values, making him a strong referral. Keith then remembered his experience with Mario and referred him when the right opportunity opened up. This referral chain is a testament to how our values-driven approach drives success and fosters a thriving work environment. Read more: https://bit.ly/3T76tua

The Innovation in Safety Achievement Awards highlights the team's ongoing commitment to ensuring everyone leaves their shifts the same way they came in.
