Opportunity for a 3-8 year candidate @ an industry-leading Private Equity, Venture Capital and Real Estate Asset Management firm here in NYC. New growth position to manage and oversee the fund launch(es), building processes out, fund and business operations, managing the outsourced/admin, and will eventually hire 1-2 people to report into this person. The CFO is great - good team, tight-knit. Will learn a TON. Also have Venture Capital business that invests in technology, digital experiences. This is a dynamic position, high exposure, wearing many hats- tons of learning potential, huge runway, autonomy, and will be able to make waves here. They are launching a hedge fund arm and due to the expansion and growth, they are looking for an accounting/ finance professional with strong knowledge of hedge funds (ideally open-ended) - specifically exposure and experience around private credit, loans, lending/ direct lending, debt, bridge loans, etc. This title is flexible from Senior Fund Accountant/Asst Controller depending on level of candidate - this is fund accounting and operations role @ a Private Equity Real Estate Fund that is launching a hedge fund arm.
