(LifeSiteNews) — Dear friends,

Do you think the Catholic faith is a “source of violence” or causes “suffering for the most vulnerable”?

Does the Church need “a genuine shift in mindset” to have “peaceful coexistence” with other religions?

What if three Vatican cardinals told you this – in a document signed by Leo XIV?

Because just last Wednesday, the Vatican issued a document saying just that.

And underneath the names of Víctor “Smoochie” Fernández and others is the signature of Leo XIV himself.

If you agree that this is unacceptable, then I need you to read this very carefully.

We are in a RED ALERT situation on our current Fall Campaign. If you value LifeSiteNews fighting back against these attacks, give today:

But there’s more to this document than what I just told you. It also claimed that:

  • Christians “should embrace” Muslim immigrants to their countries “with affection and respect” (n. 45).
  • The Church was “reserved or distant” prior to Vatican II (n. 57), and characterized by “attitudes of exclusion, contempt, or indifference” (n. 9).
  • Interreligious dialogue is “an essential dimension” of the Church’s mission (n. 46).

Satan must have been laughing when that document was published.

When the faith is attacked, Catholics are obliged to raise their voices and profess their faith.

“The faithful of Christ,” canon law says, “are bound to profess their faith whenever their silence, evasiveness, or manner of acting encompasses:

An implied denial of the faith

  • Contempt for religion
  • Injury to God, or
  • Scandal for a neighbor.

And which Catholic media outlets “professed the faith” after this travesty?

All I saw in the 24-48 hours after the document was released were a few neutral stories – with most outlets not reporting anything about it at all.

Friends, this is the sorry state of Catholic media in the Leo XIV era.

Pretty much everyone has dropped the ball – except LifeSiteNews.

When the Vatican drops doctrinal bombs like this, LifeSiteNews leaps into action:

First, we report the facts – from a Catholic perspective.

It’s a fact that “the DDF text contradicts Church magisterial teaching” – as our writer Emily Mangiaracina stated in her article.

Mentioning that is required by journalistic standards.

Next, we commission detailed analysis of the document.

LifeSiteNews has some of the best analysts in the world. Thanks to them, we also analyze the news, defend and profess the faith, and refute anything attacking it.

We’ve been doing the same in-depth analysis for:

  • Slavery and the Church’s role in ending it, when Leo XIV misrepresented it in his encyclical Magnifica Humanitas,
  • Mass migration, which Leo XIV publicly promoted during his visit to Spain in June,
  • Just War doctrine, when Leo XIV publicly contradicted it in April.

No other Catholic news outlet of our size is doing this.

When Leo XIV promoted Bishop Pedro Valenci – who says women’s ordination and communion for active homosexuals are “open questions,” and that we need “the courage to make a different Church” – LifeSiteNews was there.

We’re the ones Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò trusts with exclusive interviews, warning that Leo XIV has “intensified” Francis’ agenda “on every front.”

The men of the “different Church” aren’t even hiding any more. And they’re accelerating.

I’ll be frank: They’re coming for your faith and the faith of your children. LifeSiteNews is the only Catholic outlet with the size and reach to stand in their way. But right now, our ability to do this is in serious danger.

Our Fall Campaign is currently sitting at 37 percent of the $750,000 target. I’m more concerned than I have ever been at this point during a fundraising campaign. If we do not raise the remaining 63 percent:

  • Our investigative Catholic coverage and analysis shrinks at the very moment the Church needs it most – when so many of our former allies have fled.
  • One of the last faithful voices crying out in the wilderness may be stifled – or even silenced.

That is precisely what the modernists want.

They want to humiliate you by appointing pro-homosexual prelates with links to abusive priests and to trash the holy and apostolic faith as a cause of suffering and violence.

They want to mock God by awarding climate sustainability medals while suppressing venerable titles of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

They’ve broken the spirit of their former opponents and they want to break you and me too.

This is where you come in.

The situation is more serious than it has ever been. If you value our work, you must support it. Gifts of $50 and $100 and $250 and $500 are the backbone of LifeSiteNews’ work defending life, faith, family, and freedom.

Sacrificial gifts of $1,000 and $2,000 and $5,000 allow us to raise the banner against Christ’s enemies – whoever they are.

It’s LifeSiteNews contra mundum.

We will not flee for fear of the wolves like so many others have done.

But I can’t stress this enough: We cannot continue without you. We cannot continue if we do not meet our target for this quarter.

We cannot continue if you do not give TODAY.

P.P.S. The Vatican apparatus demolishing the faith has no financial concerns.

But we do.

At only 37 percent of our target for this campaign, I am already looking at which of our operations will need to shrink.

This is a RED ALERT for LifeSiteNews.

If you want the only Catholic outlet with the ability and will to confront corruption in Rome to keep standing – please give now.
