Whatever you think about the pressures being placed on our current democracies, BRLSI’s Democracy Under Threat series invites you to pause and take stock as we collectively take the long view across the wealth of history and political thinking which underpins our long held democratic systems and institutions, both in the Uk and abroad. Our great new series takes us from the laying down of democratic principle in ancient Athens to the ongoing pressures on our contemporary democracies.
