Of course, the boy inventor no longer lives in Shopton, an upstate New York factory town that might as well have been called, like, Pollutionville or something. No, now he lives in Jefferson, a sun-drenched Silicon Valley sort of community in California. It's rad.
OK, so it's suburban. But the high school is really cool and a wicked place to hang out with friends. Why else would Tom keep turning down those offers of early admission and full scholarship from Harvard and MIT? …
