    Mind = blown seeing ADP’s data showing that 35% of all hires in the US in April were boomerang hires – people returning to companies they’d previously left. I’d never have guessed it could be as high as a third of total hiring. That said, I’m generally a big fan of the practice. Sometimes people need to leave to realise the grass isn’t greener. Or better yet – they go, grow, and then bring new skills and perspectives back ‘home.’ It’s one of the reasons I’ve always believed in parting on good terms wherever possible. You never know who might return – and what they’ll bring with them. That mindset isn’t always common though. I still meet plenty of leaders who see leavers as disloyal or irretrievable. The data would seem to support my side a little more than theirs! #boomeranghires #growth #usastaffing
