The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services has launched an active criminal investigation into Ali Meat International, an Orlando halal slaughterhouse, following Laura Loomer’s reporting on disturbing undercover footage showing animals being subjected to prolonged and botched killings.
FDACS confirmed in writing to Loomer that its Office of Agricultural Law Enforcement “currently has an active and ongoing criminal investigation” into Ali Meat International.
The footage, recorded at the slaughterhouse during Eid al-Adha last year, shows customers and children participating in slaughter, workers using electric prods on animals and animals being left alive and bleeding.
One sequence shows an animal’s throat being repeatedly sawed, as many as 15 times, while it remained alive.
The slaughterhouse is operated by Mohammad Razzaq and Kalsoom Razzaq.

Islamists shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near living creatures. Cruelty is deeply ingrained in the culture.
