An entire family was killed before dawn on Tuesday when an Israeli occupation drone struck their apartment on al-Thalathini Street in the Sabra neighbourhood of Gaza City, setting it on fire at around 2:50 a.m. He describes residents who burned where they lay, saying crews could hear them screaming and begging to be pulled out while the fire made every attempt to reach them fail.
Killed were Firas Ahmed al-Masri, his wife Salsabeel, and their four children, Naeem, Faryal, Salma and Amira, their bodies so badly burned that rescuers could not recover them. Their deaths add to more than 1,150 Palestinian civilians killed since the October ceasefire that never ended near-daily Israeli strikes. The Israeli occupation military confirmed the attack and claimed it was "aiming at a single fighter", saying it was still "looking into" the family it had just burned alive.
