Why is it that a country with 800 billionaires can’t guarantee every working adult access to a doctor without a $6,000 deductible standing in the way first?
The money exists.
It’s just never been the priority.
My wife and I were talking last night about how a case of soda runs $8.50 now when it used to be 4 for $12 back in 2020.
Decided to pull up my old Walmart order history to check.
January 2020, same 30 item grocery run: $68.90.
Repurchased the exact same list today.

Everyone says “tax the rich” but look at the actual numbers.
Someone earning $150,000 pays around $30,600 in federal tax.
Someone earning $25,000 pays about $1,200.
It takes 25 people at that lower income to contribute what one high earner pays alone.
