Back to the town of Blida.
Following a week of operations in Blida, Battalion 8207 received orders to withdraw from the town. But before departing, several soldiers manually entered the few remaining homes that had survived the heavy demolitions and set them on fire leaving the entire village burning behind them as the column marched out:
“Finally, they gathered in the area of the destroyed houses, ready to move. When the signal was given, several of the battalion's soldiers entered the few remaining houses still standing and set them ablaze. The rest of the soldiers began walking in a long column from Lebanon to Israel, with flames rising behind them from what was left of the terror village of Blida.”
