Houthis fired six ballistic missiles at Yanbu and Taif on 24 Sept; the Saudi-led coalition reports all were intercepted. The salvo followed the restart of the East-West pipeline, which restores Yanbu as Saudi Arabia's export outlet and makes it the priority Houthi target on the Red Sea coast.
No new strike on merchant shipping was recorded in the Strait of Hormuz after the fatal 23 September strike on CAPE DAO (IMO 9219020), whose 27 surviving crew were evacuated by the Royal Navy of Oman. A 94 km oil slick off eastern Musandam is drifting into the Strait and is a navigational and environmental hazard off Lima and Ras Musandam.
Iran's Supreme National Security Council secretary stated that Iran is in no hurry to negotiate and that its conditions will not change.
