There's an emotionally generous way you could read this (he genuinely thinks it's detrimental to the Labour Party and government to have to fight for his seat at the next election). He never displayed an ounce of true humility during his PM resignation speech . It is no surprise that he does not have the stomach, to just sit on those back benches and show true courage. It is not a great loss to Parliment or his local constituency. Honestly, good riddance.

Corbyn unlike Starmer was fighting for people, not corporations. Starmer was a disgrace as PM and I hope he is returned with interest the contempt he showed for the people he was supposed to serve.
