The 26-year-old 2025 World Champion announced it himself today at the Woking factory family day.
Previous 2024 deal ran only to 2027; this locks in four more seasons plus a multi-year option beyond.
Norris holds the all-time McLaren record with 163 Grand Prix starts since his 2019 debut.
His trophy cabinet already reads: 13 wins, 18 poles, 48 podiums, two Constructors’ titles and the first Drivers’ crown since Hamilton 2008.
As part of the deal he is gifted the exact MCL39 chassis he drove to last year’s championship.
Despite rival interest he never even looked elsewhere — calling it “one of the easiest decisions” of his career.
Estimated £30 million a year (£120 million total) puts him in F1’s second-highest pay bracket.
Teammate Oscar Piastri, CEO Zak Brown and Team Principal Andrea Stella are all locked in long-term too.
Back-to-back wins in Hungary and Zandvoort have him hunting a title defence from fourth in the standings.
