Inside those tunnels were not only military installations and weapons, not to mention corridors for mobilization, but also living hostages and desecrated Israeli corpses Hamas took specifically as collateral against Israel on and in the days after October 7, 2023, a blatant multi-count war crime.
4) While Israel did this, they worked systematically to minimize civilian casualties and damage, taking fairly heavy casualties of their own in the process, including warning civilians to evacuate before major strikes and incurring their own casualties, especially in engineered ambiguous situations Hamas orchestrated specifically for this purpose with Gazan support.
5) These warnings often resulted in Hamas trying to protect their dual-use military installations by keeping civilians or underage soldiers (median age 16 among the minors) on site, despite the warning, to use their injuries and deaths as propaganda, which you wrongly call a "genocide."
6) The picture you show here is the direct result of Hamas with Gazan aid and support engineering the circumstances that would guarantee this result after they launched a surprise massacre of innocent Israeli non-combatants in one of the most gruesome attacks of modern warfare, all a festival of war crimes. They did this both as a failed deterrent against Israeli efforts to neutralize their own threats from Hamas terrorism and war and as a vehicle for the very propaganda you are actively spreading against Israel here, to your discredit and shame.
7) Your newspaper represents Scottish independence, which is a movement that has at minimum strong circumstantial evidence tying it to Pakistani and Russian foreign interference against Great Britain, both of which also traffic in precisely the type of propaganda you are promoting on your cover here.

Don't forget that most of the destruction was not done with bombs, but with bulldozers and while the buildings were vacant. Had 10% of those buildings been leveled while fully occupied, the death toll would have been well into 6 digits.
