In our second session of the Access Fellowship Programme, Fellows were given a unique, hands-on opportunity: a visit to their Mentors’ workplaces. These visits offered far more than a tour. Fellows engaged directly with professionals who shared insights into their career journeys, organisational cultures, and the realities of their industries. From learning about entry pathways to understanding in-demand skills, the experience helped ground abstract ambitions in real-world contexts 🌏 💡 A big thank you to our partners and mentors for opening their doors, and for opening minds! 🚪 🧠 Our first office visit was hosted by our Principal Sponsor, SHEIN, who welcomed Fellows into their space for a sharing and networking session. SHEIN France team proudly partnered with Vox Populi in June to launch the first edition of Pop’Skills Fashion Innovation x SHEIN — a unique and impactful training program designed to open doors to the fashion industry for 15 young talents from under served neighborhoods. This initiative extends SHEIN’s mission from #fashion for all to design for all. During this intensive five-day program, participants immersed themselves in the world of fashion design through a blend of technical training, soft skills development, and awareness-building around circular fashion. They attended workshops led by industry experts, including sessions on digital design, leadership, storytelling, and circular fashion practices. The program also included inspiring masterclasses by #SHEIN France's Art Director Luca Raveillon and prominent designers, as well as coaching and networking opportunities. Beyond acquiring new skills, participants explore their creative potential by presenting original designs inspired by the themed "France" to a professional jury, earning prizes that opened real #opportunities — from runway shows to brand immersions. SHEIN is proud to announce the renewal of our partnership with Dress for Success Rome, extending our shared commitment to empowering women through mentorship opportunities, digital access, and community-based initiatives. The renewed collaboration, celebrated at the Dress for Success hub in Rome, marks the beginning of a new phase that will involve SHEIN supporting Dress for Success as they launch initiatives with the goal of reaching even more women. This includes the creation of an online platform aimed at connecting women nationwide with vital resources, guidance, and training opportunities in digital marketing, financial literacy, and personal branding. This collaboration continues the journey we began last year, when #SHEIN supported the opening of the first multipurpose Dress for Success community hub in Rome. In its first year, the hub has empowered approximately 150 women with professional training, coaching, and peer support. We look forward to continuing this important work and working with our partners to build a future where every woman has the opportunity to thrive.
