The mission of Project SYNCERE (Supporting Youth’s Needs with Core Engineering Research Experiments) is to prepare the minds of underrepresented students and create pathways for them to pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

PROGRAMS

ENpowered Programs

[Grades K-12]

ENpowered Programs target students in grades K-12, introducing them to engineering through hands-on experiences inside and outside the classroom. These include our STEM in Motion mobile tinker lab and the annual ENPowered Games.

E-CADEMY

[Grades 6-12]

E-CADEMY provides a comprehensive engineering curriculum spanning 32 Saturdays and six weeks in the summer, coupled with an Alumni Engagement Program and strong partnerships to scaffold school-to-career pathways and ensure the long-term STEM success of underrepresented students from middle school through college and beyond.

SPONSORSHIP BENEFITS

Your support will play a pivotal role in nurturing the next generation of STEM leaders. By investing in Project SYNCERE, you’ll be empowering students to develop the critical thinking, problem-solving, and technical skills essential for success in today’s innovative world. In school, science was always about theory. There was no application, and it felt intangible to me. Project SYNCERE has shown me that engineering is creative; it’s about designing and development.

REGAN ALLEN, UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS AT URBANA-CHAMPAIGN, MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, C/O 2019

Project SYNCERE gave me the chance to learn, use my imagination and create things. Now I want to pursue STEM in college and make it my career.

ARMANI YO UNG, ALABAMA A&M UNIVERS I T Y, MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, C/O 2019

My team and I built a robot on our own. I learned what pieces fit together, and how everything works together at the end.
