This is a legal thriller with an intriguing mystery that is cleverly written and a definite page turner. The authors bring in personal details about the intrepid lawyer’s life and her struggle with cancer, but it doesn’t overwhelm the main story of her defending a playboy for the second time on a murder charge. I enjoyed the interactions between the characters, the short chapters and the fast pace. This is a must read for fans of Patterson and his inimitable way to capture you in the story.
