A powerful 2 hours workshop with soul-nourishing poetry and writing designed exclusively for professional BIPOC women. Mindful Poetry Moments

Mindful Poetry Moments is a program by The Well that offers virtual gatherings and contemplative poetry sessions to foster mindfulness. Typically featuring guest facilitators, the sessions invite participants to connect with poetry through reflection and meditation. Recent gatherings included themes like "Poetry: Mindfulness and Presence" to start the new year.

Decolonizing Narrative Therapy

Training Objectives: 

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

Recognize how ancestral storytelling and collective narratives support resilience and meaning for BIPOC clients

Describe how Biblio-Poetry Therapy fosters empowerment and identity reclamation

Demonstrate decolonized narrative techniques that externalize systemic oppression

Apply trauma-informed, culturally responsive narrative strategies to strengthen client agency and dignity

Training Outcome:

Participants will leave with practical, culturally grounded narrative tools they can immediately integrate into clinical work with BIPOC clients to support empowerment, resilience, and systemic awareness.

The Workbook keeps track of your: 3 steps, 3 minutes a day, for 33 days to build a daily habit of healing.

The Video Course provides daily inspiration and guidance from Michelle so you are not alone on this journey.  We move through all 33 days together with my rhyming sense of humor, high vibe music, affirmations and guided journal prompts!  Each video is between 4-7 minutes to make it a quick, fun and easy daily habit.

Poetry Healing Sessions are not about rules—it’s about release. It’s where words become water, flowing freely, washing over what’s been held too tightly.

You don’t need to be a poet. You just need to show up.

We start with a spark—a feeling, a memory, an image that tugs at something deep. You let the words spill, unfiltered and untamed. Maybe they arrive as whispers, maybe as waves. There is no wrong way—only your way.

 

WAM: Words As Medicine

A 9-Week Group Healing Journey for BIPOC Women

WAM is a 9-week small group coaching and healing journey designed for BIPOC women who are ready to reclaim their inner voice and transform their relationship with words. Limited to just 8 participants per cycle, this intimate circle provides the safety, support, and accountability that comes from being witnessed and walking alongside others on a similar path.

Through guided practices in journaling, poetry, scripture, storytelling, and the science of affirmative prayer, you’ll uncover how language can heal trauma, clarify purpose, and expand creativity. Each week, you’ll gather in community to access wisdom, strengthen the mind, and amplify your authentic voice.

Blending the sacred with the scientific, this program helps you harness the medicine within words to restore balance, cultivate resilience, and experience greater freedom. Together in sisterhood, you’ll discover the power of language as both a personal and collective path toward healing and liberation.

WTH: Write To Heal

An Individual Deep Dive Journey for BIPOC Women

This intimate three-month, one-on-one coaching journey is designed for BIPOC women who are ready to reclaim their inner voice and transform their relationship with words. Through six personalized 90-minute sessions (meeting twice per month), you’ll be guided into a powerful exploration of language as a tool for healing, clarity, and liberation.

Blending sacred wisdom with scientific insight, this program weaves together journaling, poetry, scripture, storytelling, and the practice of affirmative prayer. Each session is a safe and supportive space to release old narratives, restore balance, and strengthen the mind. Together, we will use the medicine of words to:

  • Heal trauma by reshaping the stories you tell yourself.

  • Clarify your life’s purpose and deepen self-trust.

  • Awaken creativity and expand your authentic expression.

  • Cultivate resilience, balance, and freedom from within.

This is more than coaching—it is a healing journey into the heart of language, where words become a bridge to wholeness, empowerment, and your most authentic voice.

Clinical Supervision

My clinical supervision style is a blend of deep reflection, skill-building, and just the right amount of structure to keep you from drowning in paperwork. Through reflective supervision, I help you tune into your own therapeutic voice—because your clients don’t need a script, they need you. We’ll explore how to decolonize therapy, challenge outdated frameworks, manage vicarious trauma, set healthy boundaries and create space for truly transformational change. And yes, we’ll also tackle the not-so-glamorous side of the work—because managing notes and treatment plans shouldn’t feel like its own trauma. Supervision with me is a space for growth, honesty, and maybe even a few laughs along the way.
