The Maine Cat Lab is a research group based in Western Maine, dedicated to studying feline behavior, cognition, and human–cat interaction.

We believe cats deserve to be better understood — and that good science, ethical research, and a little curiosity go a long way in helping us get there.

We’re currently enrolling participants for several studies.

Anyone with a cat can take part — it’s easy, fun, and helps science grow.
