Hi, I'm Joost de Valk 👋🏼

I'm an internet entrepreneur and open source developer from the Netherlands. I'm Group Head of AI & Growth at Your.Online, where I lead an AI team building tools to help entrepreneurs get online and grow. I founded Yoast (acquired by Newfold Digital in 2021) and still invest in digital companies through Emilia Capital.

What I'm working on

  • Progress Planner — A WordPress plugin that helps site owners stay on top of website maintenance by tracking stats and rewarding consistency with badges. See ProgressPlanner on GitHub.
  • Rondo — Club management software for Dutch sports clubs that use Sportlink. Replaces spreadsheets with a unified system for member management, syncing, and communication. See rondohq on GitHub.
  • Helping our portfolio companies grow, and taking on select consulting projects.
