On the mobile app, after editing (rotating, mirroring, cropping) OCR boxes will still be displayed in it's original spot where they were originally detected.
Found this while working on some changes in #32333
To confirm, I fully cleared the sqlite database, deleted the app + reinstalled.
I did some quick investigation, and found that the web ocr endpoint applies edits directly to the returned value (instead of changing the database on an edit).
The mobile app should probably also apply edits to the ocr data when reading it.
App Version: 3.3.5 and main
Server Version: 3.3.5 (demo instance)
Pretty sure 32337 is also a different bug, thx for reopening.
For 32337 it seems the mobile database stores two ocr results. For this bug the asset edit is just never applied to the ocr result (needs to be done on the client itself, server doesn’t do it)

@agg23 aren’t these two different issues? 32484 is about the text being lost from search.
Mine is that the text boxes get shown in the wrong location.

You can still see the text but it stays in the previous location.

Ugh sorry. Tagged the wrong thing. They're possibly not duplicates so I'll just tag it and not close it here #32337
