Before proposing a PR I would like to discuss wether you consider those addition should be part of lms or not:
I would love to see the ability to transcode while downloading individuals, but also albums or playlists
The idea woud be to a a new per user setting to define the download transcoding format, bitrate
Then offer to download (the actual feature) and download as which is the new feature
