Count co-authors in on Contributors badge #11244

Add a boolean option on the Contributors badge to count co-authors in.
Currently, if I'm the sole contributor on a repo but someone co-authored a commit, the Contributors badge still displays 1.

We use the
/repos/{owner}/{repo}/contributorsREST API endpoint (docs) which does not include co-authhors.After looking at the docs I could not find a clear way to do this with a single request (or a practical small number).
If anyone knows of an API endpoint to manage this, please share with us.
