I build AI systems that have to work outside the demo.

I'm Abdul Hajees, an AI/ML Engineer at Aalee working across production LLM applications, agentic workflows, tool calling, model orchestration, backend systems and product engineering.

At work, I lead the engineering of Aalee Assist, an omnichannel AI support platform with human escalation. Outside work, I'm building Aaptam, an AI-assisted expense tracker designed around fast input, local-first records and an assistant that can actually act on your data.

I like owning the whole path from system design → backend → AI orchestration → interface → deployment.

• Product lead (internal role) and primary engineer for Aalee Assist.
• Designed provider-agnostic orchestration across 15+ LLM providers and ~45 models, with BYOK support.
• Built FastAPI tool-calling paths, streaming over WebSockets, Redis-backed services, shared SSO and multi-tenant domain resolution.
• Shipped the embeddable widget, agent dashboard, Tauri desktop build and PWA.
