Iโm a software engineer interested in AI systems, full-stack engineering, developer tooling, and systems programming.
Currently pursuing a Master of Information Technology specialising in Artificial Intelligence at UNSW Sydney.
Before that, I worked professionally as a software developer across Java, Spring Boot, React, SQL, backend systems, and enterprise applications.
I like understanding how things work beneath the abstraction.
That usually means I end up somewhere between:
- AI agents
- distributed systems
- backend infrastructure
- developer tooling
- product engineering
- systems programming
- local-first AI
- sandboxing and isolation
- multimodal interfaces
I enjoy picking up unfamiliar technologies when a problem demands it, especially when it means moving beyond the layer I am already comfortable with.
I tend to think end to end.
For me, building an AI feature is not just about calling a model.
It is also about:
- what context the model receives
- how tools are exposed
- where code executes
- how permissions work
- what happens when something fails
- how state is persisted
- how the user stays in control
- whether the interface actually feels good to use
I care a lot about the small details that sit between technically working and actually being a good product.
- going down systems rabbit holes
- debugging weird behaviour
- reverse engineering things
- experimenting with new runtimes and architectures
- building internal tools
- making AI systems more reliable
- finding UX issues that are easy to miss
- learning by building things that are probably more complicated than they need to be
Python Java C++ Rust TypeScript JavaScript Dart Kotlin
React Next.js Flutter Spring Boot FastAPI
PyTorch TensorFlow LLMs RAG FAISS llama.cpp
Docker Linux PostgreSQL Redis MCP
- agent runtimes
- permission-aware AI systems
- AI safety at the execution layer
- distributed and local-first AI
- sandboxed execution
- memory for long-running agents
- developer tools for AI
- human-in-the-loop systems
- multimodal software interfaces

I occasionally write about weird experiments, system design rabbit holes, and things that somehow ended up working.
