Plains High School is a public high school located in the city of Plains, Texas, and classified as a 2A school by the University Interscholastic League. It is part of the Plains Independent School District located in north-central Yoakum County. In 2013, the school was rated "met standard" by the Texas Education Agency.[2] A new school complex to house the elementary, middle, and high schools was completed and opened in fall of 2013.
