Anyone who knows Volt knows: you don't just stop.
Especially not now, when Volt is needed more than ever.
For me, that means going back to my roots. Back home. 🏡
I grew up in the Vogelsberg, studied in Frankfurt and spent my first 24 years in Hessen. Last weekend, Volt Hessen elected
Martin Visintini and me as its new Co-Chairs.
As a born and raised Hessian, it is an honour to lead this wonderful state chapter into the 2028 state election. And I'm beyond happy to do it with Martin as my Co-Chair. We are going to rock this.
If the Landtag needs one thing, it's a purple touch. 💜
Our focus for Hessen:
1. Education, vocational training and childcare you can rely on
2. Modern, climate friendly mobility, from Frankfurt to the Vogelsberg
3. Housing and rents people can actually afford
4. Good jobs and real prospects on the labour market
After more than 70 municipal mandates, it's time for the next step: Volt in the Hessian Landtag, and no more white spots on our map.
I'm also glad that this role fits alongside my job. I can't give it everything, but within the time I have, I'll give it my all. Contributing in the way that's possible beats watching from the sidelines.
Thank you,
Carina König and Kasimir Nimmerfroh, Co-Chairs of the previous state board. You led Volt Hessen to more than 70 municipal mandates and handed over a strong chapter. I'm deeply grateful.
Big thanks to the complete previous state board: Elise Steinberger,
Sabrina Anna Wack and
Leroy Veneman.
And of course, none of this happens alone. I have a fantastic team by my side: Martin Visintini, Verena Claudia Stampnik, Sven Seefeld, Nina Marx,
Patrick Raszka and Christiene Jouaux-Frönd. Let's get to work. 💜
What's the one thing you would fix first in Hessen?
