Please sign up with an official school or district account managed by an administrator, not a personal account or account managed by students.

Yes, if there are multiple official school or district accounts managed by an administrator representing the same school, more than one account is eligible to become a school partner.

Once you have verified your official school account, that account will be considered an Instagram school partner. The reports this account submits to Instagram will be prioritized for review. Learn more about how Meta enforces our policies here.

Using a combination of user reports and technology, we find and remove inappropriate content that goes against our Community Standards. We have teams reviewing reports 24/7 in more than 50 languages. The reports we receive from school partners will be expedited through this process, to ensure they are quickly reviewed and actioned on.

Meta’s Community Standards outline what is and isn’t allowed on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and Threads, and we have specific policies around Bullying & Harassment and Hatespeech/Hateful Conduct. In addition, we have additional protections in place to ensure teens see age appropriate content.

You can report inappropriate posts, comments or people that aren't following our Community Standards or Terms of Use right when you see them, by using our built-in reporting features. Full list of report types here.

If an account is established with the intent of bullying or harassing another person or if a post or comment is intended to bully or harass someone, please report it directly in the Instagram app by following these instructions.

Using a combination of user reports and technology, we find and remove inappropriate content that goes against our Community Standards. We have teams reviewing reports of bullying and harassment 24/7 in more than 50 languages. On Facebook in Q1 2022, our artificial intelligence technology helped us act on more than 9 million pieces of content. On Instagram for the same period, we took action on over 7 million pieces, 83% of the bullying and harassment content before people reported it. Learn more about submitting reports here.

No, Meta will still identify and remove content and accounts that go against our Community Standards.

At Meta, we take bullying and harassment situations seriously. Bullying and harassment is a unique challenge and one of the most complex issues to address because context is critical. We work hard to enforce against this content while also equipping our community with tools to protect themselves in ways that work best for them. We're always creating new resources and tools, and revising policies with expert help to continually tackle the issue. To learn more visit the Bullying & Harassment Hub.

In the coming months we will provide an option for school partners to remove their verification status should they wish to verify a different account.

If you are a student, you are not eligible to become a school partner on your personal Instagram account.

If an account is established with the intent of bullying or harassing another person or if a post or comment is intended to bully or harass someone, please report it directly in the Instagram app by following these instructions.
