JAKARTA (Arrahmah.com) – NU Care, through Lembaga Amil Zakat Infak dan Shodaqoh Nahdlatul Ulama (LazizNU) along with Lembaga Amil Zakat Infak dan Shodaqoh Muhammadiyah (LazizMU), will together carry out slaughtering the sacrifice animals on the day of Eid al-Adha 1437 H for the first time.
“This is the first time for LazizNU and LazizMU to be gathered. Usually, NU and Muhammadiyah jointly carry out the sacrifice. But now, we do the sacrifice together,” Haedar Nashir, a General Chairman of Muhammadiyah, said in the centre office of Muhammadiyah, in Jakarta, on Wednesday (24/8/2016), Poskotanews reported.
The same thing was told by a General Chairman of PBNU Said Agil Siradj. He hoped that the Sacrifice Fiest with Muhammadiyah will bring goodness, good for both organizations, and community.
“Hopefully this is a good sign. And, NU along with Muhammadiyah will more unified in the future,” he said. (arrahmah.com)
