    Gents, do not get shaky hands when dealing with land. If you're a buyer -- do not hesitate. Shoot your shot TODAY. Because just the time your mind settles after so much hand-wringing, it'll have sold. I say this for a reason. Just lost out on a parcel, now I'm kicking myself.

    Real estate isn't a very liquid asset and it is reasonable to pause and consider before buying it, especially unusual types and in a marginal market. In another world you might be complaining that the land was an albatross around your neck. Perhaps there was a reason for this.

    It took me 7 years to find my land. I actually gave up and started looking at cookie cutter houses with the wife that last year. But a perfect parcel came on market and I got it. I would recommend not settling and keep looking if it's not what you want. The market will go up and
