In both New Mexico and California, it's theoretically legally possible for two first cousins of the same sex to marry one another as children with a judge's permission.
This was also true in New York until 2017, when NYS banned child marriage.
Profoundly disturbing.

- Has anyone actually done it? Is it even a thing that happen
- Except it probably was never an issue until recently.
- That's true here in the UK too, we can't get rid of cousin marriage because of the muslim voting block and can't get rid of gay marriage because of the liberal voting block, and we need marriage at 16 as the age of consent/legally having kids is 16 so gay 16yo cousins can marry!
