She is the wife of Dr. Khalil al-Hayya, leader of the resistance. She is the mother of the martyr Azzam al-Hayya. She gave four sons to the path of Allah and the homeland and she stands before the world unbroken.
Her voice does not tremble. It thunders.
"Our children were nurtured by the Quran, raised at its table, shaped by its words. We will NOT compromise. This is the legacy of Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, of Ismail Haniyeh and of Yahya Sinwar. My son Azzam forged the finest of the youth and I carry his martyrdom not as a wound, but as a crown."
She stands tall not despite her losses, but because of them.
Like a mountain that storms cannot move, she speaks and the earth listens.
