A public wake will be held for Glen Hansard in Dublin on Bank Holiday Monday followed by his funeral on Tuesday.
The singer-songwriter died in a crash in the early hours of Wednesday, hours after taking part in a trad session at The Wren's Nest pub.
Former US president Barack Obama, Bruce Springsteen, US actor Rachel Zegler, Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, and pop star Billie Eilish are among the high-profile names who have paid tribute to The Frames frontman after his death.
Bono, Bob Geldof, Cait O'Riordan, Andrea Corr, and Hozier also paid tribute and a memorial busk was held in Dublin last night for him by fellow buskers.
A public wake will be held for Hansard in the Baroque Chapel at IMMA, Royal Hospital Kilmainham, on Monday 3 August between 11am and 4pm.
Hansard will lie in repose for those wishing to pay their respects.
The funeral will take place the following day at St Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin city centre at 1:30pm.
While the funeral will also be open to the public, access inside the cathedral will be limited given the numbers expected.
Music at the funeral will be provided by Hansard's friends and family.
The funeral will also be broadcast on the RTÉ News channel.
