Supercomputers can solve problems that could not be solved by scientists using experiments or traditional computers. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science is awarding more than 38 million node-hours on our supercomputers to 56 scientific projects, including those that advance AI and fusion energy. The 2025 allocations are providing time on some of the fastest computers in the world, including Frontier at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Aurora and Polaris at the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility, and Perlmutter at the National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC): https://lnkd.in/gn3E82D7
