Here are just a few recent updates - from cyclone forecasts to Gemini robotics and 2.5 updates and unlocking new understanding of genome regulation: 🌀 Cyclone Mode + Weather Lab: As extreme weather events become more common, accurate real-time forecasts are more important than ever. Our AI-based model predicts the track, intensity, and size of a cyclone, while overcoming challenges like sparse data. We're sharing an experimental model for feedback and collaborating with the National Hurricane Center and others to help develop their forecasts. 🤖 Gemini Robotics: We're making our powerful Vision-Language-Action (VLA) model for robotics more accessible than ever with our new on-device model. It delivers flagship-level performance but is small enough to run directly on a robot - crucial for low latency, and poor connectivity environments. 🧬 AlphaGenome: Unlocking the secrets of DNA is fundamental to understanding life. Our new AlphaGenome AI model provides a more comprehensive understanding of the non-coding genome, and achieves SOTA performance across a wide range of genomic prediction benchmarks. 🚀 Gemini 2.5 Updates: We announced the general availability of our Gemini 2.5 Pro and Flash models, designed for amazing performance at the Pareto Frontier of cost and speed.
