Rubin Observatory’s Post

It's like the holidays in July...our first week-long workshop after the first NSF–DOE Rubin Observatory image reveal! 🎁 We're one week out from the Rubin Community Workshop in Tucson, and we can't wait for five days of rich discussions and observatory updates! Scientists and engineers from the U.S., Chile, and around the world will gather virtually and in person to discuss all things Rubin, including: 🔭 updates on ongoing engineering testing and work to ready the observatory for full science operations 🌌 looking ahead to the start of the decade-long Legacy Survey of Space and Time later this year 👩💻 collaborating with colleagues on data analyses, science priorities, and more! Stay tuned to our Stories next week as we bring you behind the scenes and share highlights from #Rubin2025! 📷: RubinObs/NOIRLab/SLAC/NSF/DOE/AURA/T. Matsopoulos

My new overview paper, "Helix-Light-Vortex Theory: A Unified Geometric Framework," summarizes a new theory in which spacetime, matter, and even consciousness emerge from a single, geometric-informational substrate. The theory is based on three core axioms: a discrete, dodecahedral spatial lattice, a complex "spiral time" with a retrocausal component, and a symbolic grammar (G_HLV) that describes geometric quantization. From these first principles, the HLV framework derives explanations for central puzzles in physics, including the Muon g-2 anomaly, neutrino mass, dark matter, and a complete resolution of the quantum measurement problem without "wavefunction collapse". This work consolidates all aspects of the HLV research program and presents a portfolio of concrete, falsifiable predictions, from particle physics to biogravimetry, thus offering a testable path beyond the Standard Model. https://www.academia.edu/143021031/Helix_Light_Vortex_Theory_A_Unified_Geometric_Framework_for_Quantum_Physics_Gravitation_and_Consciousness

Hello SLAC, is there a reason why you are not on Bluesky? I would love to see you there. I will be your first follower. Rubin is.

Rubin Observatory when can we expect releases of new images like The Cosmic Treasure Chest and Trifid and Lagoon? How often will these be released? I am checking your websites daily in waiting for these images.

Rubin Observatory Dear colleagues, I would like to kindly invite you to provide a PREreview of two recent theoretical works that develop and apply the Helix-Light-Vortex (HLV) framework — a geometrically grounded approach to quantum structure, spacetime asymmetry, and information coupling. 1. Neutrinos as Spiral Information Resonators: A Helix-Light-Vortex Interpretation of Neutrino Mass and Oscillation https://www.academia.edu/142906179/ 2. A Geometric Origin for Strong CP Violation in Charmed Baryons: An HLV Perspective on Matter-Antimatter Asymmetry https://www.academia.edu/143043909/ These papers are part of a broader attempt to unify space, matter, and information through a symbolic geometric framework, and they offer testable consequences relevant to LHCb, BESIII, and neutrino experiments. I welcome any constructive feedback, critique, or support through PREreview or via Academia. Your expertise would be very valuable in further refining the framework.
