Everyone wants to be a cybersecurity professional… But what is a Robin without Batman? That is exactly the role "system administrators" play. Yet, they are often overlooked. Cybersecurity may get the glory, but without sysadmins, there is no fortress to protect. Anyways, do you know the last Friday in July is "𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗽��𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆?" (Yes, it is a real thing, and yes, we absolutely deserve the recognition!) While you are sipping that office coffee, asking “why is the printer not printing?”, or hitting Ctrl+Alt+Del like it’s a magic spell… There is someone quietly saving the day behind the scenes: your System Administrator. They are the ones who:  • Keep the Wi-Fi alive in that one corner of the office  • Fix the ‘urgent’ issue that turned out to be… your monitor wasn’t on.  • And yes… resetting the 100th forgotten password of the week. As an IT professional, I have seen firsthand how easily people forget the human engine room behind every system. So, this Friday, buy your SysAdmin a coffee.
