Does ChatGPT really cause brain rot? Our Head of Education Leah Belsky and college students Yabsera Benyam, and Alaap Nair join Andrew Mayne to discuss this and more on episode 4 of the OpenAI Podcast. https://lnkd.in/dr9D6-8i
will check soon but based on my opinion it really depnds on how the user uses it. i make the smart smarter and the dumb dumber
The more developed AI models, the more people rely on them. And when the AI agents could complete complex tasks, people won't do it themselves, for efficiency or just laziness, haha.
I'm facing a major issue with my ChatGPT account. I'm using the free version, and I rely on it daily for content, ideas, and work. Unfortunately, some of my most important chats — ones I use all the time — have suddenly disappeared. They didn’t get deleted. They just vanished. I'm really hoping they come back, fully restored. I checked OpenAI's help pages, and here's what I found: "OpenAI rolls out updates to ChatGPT from time to time, which can sometimes cause rolling outages. These issues — like missing chats — are usually temporary and related to changes happening in the background. Patience is advised, and things should return to normal soon." That’s… kind of comforting. But still a bit stressful. Has anyone else experienced this recently? Any tips, fixes, or suggestions from the community — or the OpenAI team — would mean a lot! Thanks for reading — and fingers crossed my chats come back soon.
This is the next level from phone zombies. We need to help AI realize how stupid some people are and start the interactions with new users as new borns, and in the AI realm we should teach it to teach the new born users on how to understand what AI is.
This is the central question for product leaders in the AI space. In my experience building GenAI tools at Google, the goal was always augmentation, not just automation—turning the user into a strategist with superpowers, not a passive operator. The real design challenge is in the UX: How do we build AI products that actively encourage critical thinking and partnership with the model, rather than just delegation? Excited to hear the perspectives from Leah Belsky and the students on the podcast. #ProductManagement #AI #GenAI #UX
P.I. Yaroslavskiy made a cool post on that. Spouler : chatgpt doesn t make you dumb https://www.linkedin.com/posts/iy-profil_ia-activity-7352955598176428032-vxq4?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_android&rcm=ACoAADjH_xMBfD3lLLHXZdNUX0By9ZLi2xYHw9o
I love the greater mission and ability to make learning more accessible. Reaching those who were not being supported before for lots of different reasons. Very literally changing the world, amazing!!
🔴 75 Days. Still No Access to Paid ChatGPT Team Plan To OpenAI and Sam Altman: I paid for 2 seats under the ChatGPT Team Plan nearly 2.5 months ago, and despite sending over 14 emails with proof of payment, I still have no access to the service. After all this time, this is the response I received from OpenAI Support: “We deeply regret the prolonged inconvenience and frustration caused by this unresolved issue with your ChatGPT Team subscription. We want to reassure you that this step isn’t about asking you to repurchase anything unnecessarily. It’s simply part of the process required to reactivate your workspace. Please complete the payment for 3 seats using the link we provided. Once your workspace is reactivated, you’ll be able to adjust the seat count back to 2 from your workspace settings. This is extremely disappointing. 💬 I’ve already paid. I’ve already proven it. I’m a genuine paying customer — why am I being asked to pay again just to access the product? 📣 This isn’t just a technical delay. It’s turning into customer harassment and non-fulfillment of service. I urge OpenAI leadership to take immediate action.
