Matt Cain’s Post

Today, I announced that I decided to pass the leadership baton at Couchbase.  It’s been an honor to serve here as Chair, President and CEO.   I’m incredibly proud of all that we’ve accomplished over the last 8+ years, and equally proud of how we’ve done it.  I’d like to thank our customers, partners, and shareholders for putting your trust in us.  I’d like to thank our Board of Directors for supporting us.  And mostly, I’d like to thank all the employees, past and present, who I’ve had the privilege to take the field with every day.  None of this would have been possible without your dedication, persistence, and execution.  We went about our business as good humans, acted with uncompromised integrity, attacked hard problems, and played to win together.  With that approach, we made tomorrow better than today and allowed thousands of families to be served. Great things are ahead!
